A Turbulent Gamble

A Turbulent Gamble

Every move you take, everything you do,

All moves matter and all affect you.

Shuffle the cards and reshuffle them if you like;

The odds will never be shuffled nigh.

Each turn unveiled, each look you give,

Succumbs to scrutiny and forbids to live.

You do not have to listen for the imminent

Doom that is foreseeable; it is everywhere eminent.

Move by move, step by step, we offer solace

At the possibilities of reconciliation of menace.

You may try and try, but truth remains;

Once you get in, there is no getting away.

Two people make careful moves, but

Two affects all who live under rust.

The Greatness

The Greatness

A book defines who we are.

Our lives are dictated by books,

And we learn accordingly to books.

We put our lives in books,

And book-keeping keeps the business.

We kiss under oaths of books.

And vow solemn swears with books

As out witnesses; books create us.

We make books; all our ideas expressed

Solely at the love and fidelity to knowledge.

Shut within papers and covers,

We create books according to our selves.

Books are magnificent; we make the books.

Do Greatness stem from books or from us?

Country Road

Country Road

The brown soil spreads far out west.

The seemingly endless road of beaten age

Cherish the past that has rained upon.

Green leaves surround and penetrate us all.

The dark future gets barked at,

The blue past gets absorbed by the green.

A shrub grows under a tree,

A seedling grows under a shrub.

Flowers bloom as they please, and

Seeds get blown according to the wind.

The country does not seem like much.

But ‘tis where we live and where we shall live.

Jail

Jail

Each room and each room, rows after rows.

Columns after columns, ironies after ironies.

Cruel system of cells, inhumane tables,

Help Thy Child, away from here We shall.

Barricaded, shut, dead; such is life.

A cross; a remnant of dignity and morality,

Reminds lies and deceits of ironies. Oh, ironies.

Kill cells. Kill strings. Strings snap. Lives snap.

What justice, what righteousness?

Thy Children weep; Children weep for Thou.

Thou maketh thus, Thou art Thine wrong.

Educate, beat, hurt, injure, ridicule;

Be students of world; be hated.

Seek help, seek sanity and menace

At walls, at wardens, at books.

Paper and pen are keys; keys to seek.

A gift wasted, how quaint, how just.

How educational.

War

War

The heart beats, but never lives.

I feel the blood, reigning with lust.

I know I breathe, but hear not screams.

Tremors of dust, feel the Earth undone.

Charge and charge, to forward in large.

Streams of love, of past of doves.

Cluster of heart, phobia of dark.

Screams of doves, those wings of love.

Shatter them, undo lest.

Scatter me, undo with.

Shrapnel lie, we lone fly.

Hold I, to die.History_World_War_I_One_Word_159255_SF_HDCredits to image

Aches

Aches

How fervently does it pound

Upon the liar’s throne of misdeeds

And dotes on Time that wanders proudly

That dates the seconds for it to read.

A wanderer, a deserter, a tyrant, a child,

Congregated in the ballroom, enjoying the passing.

The liar looks; pondering at himself.

As himself waltzes, seemingly everlasting.

Gaze at the horizon, look at Time waltzing

At the heavenly bliss unclear of motive.

Try to walk, try to waltz, try to create.

Time smiles to beats and immobilizes and fatigues.

Petrified and stupefied, gaze at the liar;

Sits and looks with tears in gaze.

Straighten the back and listen to the liar,

If you manage to without feeling the ache.heartache_20and_20poetry_2053_201_208x10_originalCredits for image

Compromise

Compromise

A Great One once said, “Compromise”,

For He preaches freedom through cries.

He once wrote under the pine,

That we can only live through lies.

And thus has He.

“Civilization wrote on compromise, and

Humanity rode on conformity, hence

Civilization marched on.” That

Was said unto ears and mouths, whence

Compromise beset upon Him and all who followed them.

And thus He has.

Fear the law and fear the tales

Of Men who cried wolves and enslaves

Those who did not follow their hails

Of Lords and Books that none has claimed

Its validity and suppressed the oppressed laying

There, in front of us, as they have done always.

And He has thus.

Love is compromise but compromise is not.

Claimed Love in Compromising but is rot.

And thus we compromise without knowing not.

The significance of traditions we understand not.

Love with Compromise, but fight not.

For Law and Men forbids otherwise to not.

And has He thus.

Resist

Resist

What for do we love, if not for love?

What for do we live, if not to live?

Shine the sun onto ocean and it glistens,

Just as raindrops fall and merge into the sea.

Come fall, leaves turn color.

Come winter, leaves fall and abandon.

Time heals for no one’s worth.

Let hot coffee cool and its heat leaves.

Flies fly to where they want but never listens

To the eventual impending consequences unseen.

Come summer, leaves turn green with ardor.

Come spring, leaves bear ornaments to abandon.

Walk and we shall walk.

We run when we want and when we please.

Timeliness never exists for immovable mountains,

That fills with leaves vast and free.

Come life, we talk, walk, and splendor.

Come death, we resist the change we fell on.
